February Club Meeting
Our next Club meeting will be on
Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at
the American Legion Post in Jensen Beach.
Our guest speaker will be Captain Willie Howard.
Captain Willie has been fishing the ocean off Palm Beach County since the late 1980s. He spent 12 years as a full-time outdoors writer for the Palm Beach Post, and still writes for publications such as The Coastal Star and Florida Sportsman magazine.
Captain Willie techniques include drifting over reefs with live or dead baits and running offshore to the Gulf stream for pelagics.

Dinner at 6pm. General Meeting at 7pm.
Please note: American Legion only accepts cash for drinks and dinner.

This monthly outing is different. We are encouraging everyone to fish in the morning, and then join fellow members for lunch at 12:30pm. Members are encourage to bring a dessert. Feel free to bring your yard games too, for a little friendly competition.

Our mission is to promote interest in and knowledge of sport fishing, good sportsmanship, social interaction and fellowship among its members, and to endorse responsible stewardship of the St. Lucie Estuary, the Indian River Lagoon and Florida’s coastal and offshore waters.
We are dedicated to promoting the sport of fishing, building solid relationships and creating lasting memories for our members. The Club was founded in 1982 and continues to grow as the area’s premier fishing club.
The Stuart Rod and Reel Club sponsors a monthly tournament. The tournament winner is awarded a nice fishing shirt embroidered with the Club’s logo and the angler’s name. Join us at one of our monthly meetings and we’re sure you’ll be hooked!
